Baseball: Colfax overpowers Plum City

Plum City fell 8-3 Tuesday to Colfax in Plum City.

Colfax held a 3-2 lead entering the final two innings and used the sixth and seventh to tack on five runs for the win. Colfax finished with 11 hits with Dalton Knutson tallying three of those hits. Knutson had two doubles and an RBI. Ethan Kiekhafer and Josh Shipman went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Michael Hover finished 2-for-2 with three runs.

Chad Fox went 3-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases for the Blue Devils. Darren Fetzer, Tyler Niebur and Kris Krueger also had hits. Lawton Radle scored twice.

Plum City walked eight hitters and hit two in the loss.

The Blue Devils will face Elmwood Thursday in Plum City.
