Senior Tyler Boyle-Hoban threw a complete game shutout for Cannon Falls in a 3-0 win against Rochester Lourdes Saturday in Cannon Falls.
Boyle-Hoban gave up just two hits and three walks to go with four strikeouts. He also went 2-for-2 at the plate for the Bombers (11-4, 8-2 HVL).
Senior Trevor Sullivan finished 2-for-3 with a run and a stolen base in the win while senior Braxton Lindow had two RBI for Cannon Falls. The Bombers had five hits and no errors in the game.
“Boyle obviously threw a great game,” Cannon Falls head coach Bucky Lindow said. “Our defense was outstanding again.”
The Bombers scored one run in the second inning and two runs on a squeeze play in the fifth inning.
Jason Samuelson and Joe Volcheck both finished 1-for-3 for the Eagles.
Cannon Falls plays Kenyon-Wanamingo Monday in Cannon Falls.
