Softball: Pepin-Alma dominates St. Croix Central

Pepin-Alma seniors Sara Johnson and Hannah Wickland provided some big hits Tuesday for the Eagles in a 10-0 six-inning victory over St. Croix Central in Pepin on senior night.

Johnson and Wickland each went 2-for-3 and combined for three RBI as Pepin-Alma (12-1, 11-0 Dunn-St. Croix) pounded out 14 hits. Wickland had two RBI while Breanna Ellison went 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBI and Mikaela Dusek went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Ellison also got the win with 4 1/3 innings of work. Ellison struck out seven, walked none and game up just one hit.

Pepin-Alma will face Ellsworth Saturday at the Pepin-Alma tournament in Pepin at noon.
