Baseball: Eagles capitalize on errors against Prairie Farm

Pepin-Alma took advantage of eight errors by Prairie Farm to scored eight runs in the first three innings of a 10-2 victory Tuesday in Alma.

The Eagles scored four runs in the first inning and four in the third to grab their fifth consecutive victory.

Sophomore Charlie Raethke was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI to lead Pepin-Alma (7-4, 5-3 Dunn-St. Croix). Senior Jacob Lerum went 1-for-2 with two RBI and junior Cole Carroll finished 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI. He also pitched the first four innings to get the win, allowing both runs on three hits and three walks while striking out nine.

Four different players had a hit for Prairie Farm. Dylan LaBlanc went 1-for-3 with a double.

The Eagles play Boyceville Friday in Boyceville.
