Residents and stores clean out their attics, garages and basements to create 100 miles and three days of bargains. The 100-mile garage sale runs from Alma on the southern end of the Wisconsin side of Lake Pepin, north along Highway 35 through Nelson, Pepin, Stockholm and Maiden Rock to Bay City. Cross the river and the sale continues from Red Wing south on Highway 61 through Frontenac, Lake City, Camp LaCupolis, Reads Landing, Wabasha, Kellogg and Winona.
