Goodhue’s Dillon Huemann threw a complete game four-hitter Monday in a 5-1 victory over Randolph in Goodhue to give the Wildcats their first win of the season.
Huemann gave up one run, walked five and struck out three.
It took a little time for both pitchers to settle down. All the runs of the game were scored in the first two innings.
Goodhue filled the bases in the first inning with three consecutive walks to start the game. Thomas Ramboldt singled in a run and two more scored on an error to help give the Wildcats (1-6, 0-4 HVL) a 4-1 lead.
Ramboldt finished 2-for-4 and Andy Johnson went 1-for-2 for Goodhue, which had six hits in the game.
Randolph made six errors in the game.
