Boys Golf: Red Wing finishes second at Mayo Invite

Red Wing tied for second place at the Mayo Invite played at Eastwood Golf Course in Rochester.

Red Wing tied for second place at the Mayo Invite played at Eastwood Golf Course in Rochester.

The Wingers tied Winona with a 315 and Byron took first place out of nine teams with a 308.

Tyler Grove shot a 76 to lead Red Wing, Jarrett Enevold finished a 78, Blake Westerberg tallied a 79 and Zach Sachen had an 82.

C.J. Fritcher, of Rochester Century, placed first individually with a 70.

The Wingers compete against Rochester Lourdes Tuesday at Mississippi National Golf Course.
