Senior Home Work
Senior Home Work provides volunteers who can help with minor home repair and maintenance projects at no or little cost.
You will be asked to help pay for needed supplies, however no labor costs will be charged for the work completed. Call 651-267-3599.
Available 1 to 3 p.m. Fridays, Wii sports bowling is fun exercise with the added bonus of laughs and competition.
Come get the enjoyment out of bowling without the use of a heavy bowling ball.
Writing a memoir?
Every Thursday at 10 a.m. retired historian Sharon Schoeder leads a writing group. Everyone has a story to tell. Whether you just want to write stories to pass on to your children or you would like to publish your work, this is a good starting point. Participants write and share selections of their work with the group weekly.
Take a trip to see ‘Diana’ exhibit
Treat yourself to the exhibition celebrating the life and work of Lady Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales, Thursday May 10 at the Mall of America. Direct from England, the exhibit includes nine galleries with more than 150 objects, including her wedding gown, 28 designer dresses, family heirlooms and rare home videos.
