Girls Golf: Lake City takes fifth at home invite

Lake City shot 377 Tuesday to finish fifth at the Lake City Invitational at the Lake City Golf Course.

Lake City shot 377 Tuesday to finish fifth at the Lake City Invitational at the Lake City Golf Course.

Katie Bolduc led the Tigers with an 89 while Erin Pennington shot 94. Brandy Geolat shot 96 and Emily Schimbeno finished with a 98.

Woodbury won the meet with a 362, Lanesboro finished second with a 368 and Zumbrota-Mazeppa placed third with a 369.

Woodbury’s Katie Moore won medalist honors with a 6-over 78.
