Faith organizations join in Chemical Health Week
More than 80 faith organizations across Goodhue County will be observing Chemical Health Week: Faith Communities as Caring Communities.
More than 80 faith organizations across Goodhue County will be observing Chemical Health Week: Faith Communities as Caring Communities. The kickoff is Sunday and the week runs April 22-28.
The Goodhue County Chemical Health Initiative and congregations are sending the message that it's never too early or too late to begin the healthful habit of regular conversations with children about healthy living. When parents discuss the harmful effects of alcohol and drugs, children are less inclined to become involved in risky alcohol and drug behaviors.
