League event explores campaign financing
League of Women Voters Red Wing will examine the 2010 landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision “Citizen’s United” at 5 p.m. Tuesday April 24 in the Red Wing Public Library Community Room.
League of Women Voters Red Wing will examine the 2010 landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision “Citizen’s United” at 5 p.m. Tuesday April 24 in the Red Wing Public Library Community Room. The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will look at origin of the case and its effects on campaign finance changes.
Discussion will include actions to inform citizens and to advocate for reform. Light refreshments will be available.
