Van rolls into ditch

A 45-year-old woman had to be removed from a vehicle when her seat belt got stuck following a one-vehicle rollover Sunday morning.

A 45-year-old woman had to be removed from a vehicle when her seat belt got stuck following a one-vehicle rollover Sunday morning.

Nancy Clark of Arkansaw, Wis., was driving on County Road U south of Plum City just after 9 a.m. and left the road on a curve near 80th Street, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department reported. The van went into a steep ditch and rolled onto its roof.

Clark was taken to Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, Wis., with undetermined injuries. A 6-year-old girl, who also was wearing a seat belt, had “very minor” injuries to her arm.

Assisting at the scene was the Plum City/Maiden Rock/Stockholm ambulance service, Plum City Fire Department, Ellsworth ambulance and Kent Gilles Towing of Plum City.
