Sheriff sponsoring ATV safety course
The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office will sponsor an ATV safety course for youth operators from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 19 at the Goodhue County Public Works Building, 2140 Pioneer Road.
The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office will sponsor an ATV safety course for youth operators from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 19 at the Goodhue County Public Works Building, 2140 Pioneer Road.
The course consists of two parts. It will feature an independent study CD as well as a review of written materials, a written test and a riding skills component. Those interested in obtaining a youth certificate should contact Scott Powers at 651-267-2848 to request a CD and to register for the riding skills portion of the class.
Training is open to ages 11-15 and their certificate will be valid when they turn 12.
