Healing program offered for women

Women are invited to participate in an 11-week program that meets Tuesday evenings starting April 17 at New River Assembly of God. The “Moving Out of Hiding, Beyond Hurting and Into Healing” study will run 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Women are welcome to come for single sessions or every week, organizers said. ”What we do is a teaching, testimony, video and small group. Confidentiality is held. We are doing it on a night when no one is using the church.”

The Rev. JoAnne Crosby founded the program and has worked with issues relating to abuse, chemical dependency and anger for more than 40 years. Site facilitators are Mary Reuter and Trincy Faas.
