Winona Cotter held Goodhue to two hits Thursday in a 10-0, five-inning victory in Winona.
The Wildcats (0-3, 0-3 HVL), which have tallied just five hits this season, failed to capitalize on an early opportunity when they put runners on second and third with one out in the first inning.
In the bottom half of the inning the Ramblers struck for eight runs and added single runs in the third and fifth innings.
Mikayla Miller and Ashlyn Stecklein had the base hits for Goodhue.
Micaela Trainor led Cotter with a 3-for-3 performance. Trainor drove in five runs and scored twice. Trainor hit an inside-the-park grand slam in the first inning to propel the Ramblers.
Katie Nachtigal picked up the win for Cotter. Nachtigal struck out eight and walked two.
The Wildcats face Pine Island Monday in Pine Island.
