City of Red Wing Street Improvements

NOTICE OF HEARING ON

IMPROVEMENT

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Red Wing will meet in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 315 West 4th Street, at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 to consider the making of an improvement of the following streets pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429:

1)Summit Avenue,

2)Pleasantview Avenue,

3)5th Street - from Buchanan Street to Washington Street,

4)6th Street - from Buchanan Street to Washington Street,

5)Buchanan Street - from 6th Street to Dead End,

6)and Jefferson Street – from 4th Street to 5th Street,

by reconstruction of the sanitary sewer and services and water main and services; as well as reconstruction of the street by removals, storm sewer, grading, aggregate base, bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, street lighting, boulevard restoration and related construction at an estimated cost of $1,367,147. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing.

Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.
