A community meeting bringing awareness to sexual assault and child abuse is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. April 13 in the Community Room of the Red Wing Public Library.
A community meeting bringing awareness to sexual assault and child abuse is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. April 13 in the Community Room of the Red Wing Public Library. April is Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
The event, co-sponsored by HOPE Coalition and SARA, will include topics such as creating awareness about child abuse in the community, current prevention strategies, what barriers exist to creating a healthy and safe community and ideas for the future.
The meeting is free, and participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.
