Pine Ridge Ground Storage Reservoir Renovation Structural Repairs and Interior and Exterior Coating System Red Wing, Minnesota
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received, publicly opened and read aloud by the City of Red Wing, Minnesota, at the City Hall, 315 West 4th Street, Red Wing, Minnesota 55066 in said city at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 to construct the Pine Ridge Ground Storage Reservoir - Structural Repairs and Interior and Exterior Coating System as defined in the specifications. A general description of the work includes:
1.Miscellaneous interior and exterior structural repairs;
2.Sandblast existing coating from interior of a 0.5 million gallon ground storage reservoir and replace with epoxy coating system;
3.Sandblast existing coating from exterior of a 0.5 million gallon ground storage reservoir and replace with a epoxy/urethane coating system;
Plans and specifications as prepared by the City of Red Wing are on file and available for review during normal business hours at the City of Red Wing Public Works building, 229 Tyler Road North, Red Wing Minnesota 55066.A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Red Wing Public Works building, 229 Tyler Road North, Red Wing Minnesota.
Complete sets of Bidding Documents and bidding instructions are available for downloading from the City of Red Wing website (www.red-wing.org) for a non-refundable fee of $20.00. Paper Bidding documents are available through Docunet.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier’s check payable to the City of Red Wing in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the Bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described in the bidding documents. This deposit will be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. The deposits for the three lowest bidders will be retained by the Owner until the contract has been awarded and executed, but no longer than ninety (90) days. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, in the best interest of the Owner.
