Baseball: Lake City breezes past Winona Cotter

Dylan Simonic went 2-for-4 with 4 RBI Monday for Lake City as it rolled past Winona Cotter 9-1 in Winona.
Simonic came through with two-run base hits in the fifth and the sixth after the Ramblers scored a run in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Jake Griebenow got the win for the Tigers with three innings of work. Griebenow allowed two hits, walked none and struck out three. He also went 2-for-5 with an RBI.
Reid Lundell finished 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Tigers, who had eight hits.
Lake City took advantage of four Cotter errors, but still struck out 11 times.
The Tigers face Stewartville next Tuesday in Lake City.
