Dakota Electric to hold meeting
Dakota Electric Association will celebrate 75 years of service during its annual meeting Thursday April 12.
Dakota Electric Association will celebrate 75 years of service during its annual meeting Thursday April 12 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Farmington, Minn. The church is next to the Dakota Electric office. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.; doors open at 6 p.m., and refreshments will be served before the meeting.
Balloting materials were mailed to members March 27. Members can vote online — www.dakotaelectric.com — using the e-signature included with their ballots, or by mailing the ballots in the postage-paid envelope to Survey and Ballot Systems. Ballots must be received no later than noon April 12.
Ballots should not be dropped off nor mailed to Dakota Electric Association’s office. Also, if a person chooses to vote at the annual meeting, they must bring their ballot because no replacement ballots will be provided.
Nominees for the District 4 are: incumbent Judy Kimmes of Hampton, Buzz Anderson of Eagan and Jerry Brown of Apple Valley.
