RWHS speech team fares well
The Red Wing High School speech team competed in a meet at Owatonna High School Saturday March 10.
The Red Wing High School speech team competed in a meet at Owatonna High School Saturday March 10. Of the 30 RWHS students who competed, four won medals and seven earned honorable mention titles.
Maria Peterson placed seventh, Mariah Berry placed fifth, Gabby Marroquin sixth and Mikayla Cota got a second place medal.
Honorable mentions were Emily Dech, Nick Mittelsteadt, Noah Lindquist, Inga Dudley, Megan Graves, Riley Larson and Brandy Mittelsteadt.
There were more than 250 students from 16 high schools at the meet. The team’s next meet will be today in Northfield.
