Father Czerwonka will serve two congregations
Father Paul Czerwonka is serving St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plum City and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Arkansaw.
Father Paul Czerwonka is serving St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plum City and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Arkansaw. The two congregations combined upon his arrival. St. Joseph’s previously had been with St. Henry’s Catholic Church of Eau Galle, Wis.
He has spent much of his adulthood overseas, including Italy and Belgium. One of his passions, he said, is iconography. Many of the icons he’s created in his ministry can be found in Poland, Portugal and Vatican City.
The 1982 graduate of Chetek (Wis.) High School grew up on a dairy farm and was a therapist and counselor before his ordination in 2003.
