Celebrate Women's History Month
The Lake City Historical Society will sponsor a talk at 7 p.m. Tuesday March 27 that highlights Women's History Month.
The Lake City Historical Society will sponsor a talk at 7 p.m. Tuesday March 27 that highlights Women's History Month. Kathy Halvorson, the first female warden of Minnesota Correctional Facility-Red Wing, will talk about the evolution of this historic facility and women's roles in the corrections profession.
This presentation will include a question-and-answer format. The talk will begin in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall.
Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
