Shafer-Morales

Stephanie Shafer and Emanuel Morales were married Oct. 22, 2011, at the Minnesota Army National Guard building in Red Wing. The Rev. Carmen Edwards officiated at the outdoor ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Christine Shafer of Red Wing. The groom is the son of Enedina Bautista and Jose Manuel Morales of Zapotitlan Salinas, Puebla Mexico.

Maid of honor was Sara Wolske of Apple Valley, Minn. Bridesmaids were Natalie Fernandez-Mejia of Red Wing and Sara Randall of Lake City. Readers were Dani Bennett of Ellsworth, cousin of the bride, and Bethany Olson of Elmwood, who also was personal attendant.

Best man was Luis Morales of Red Wing, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Kevyn Fernandez-Mejia of Red Wing and Chad Shafer of Red Wing, brother of bride.

The bride works as an licensed practical nurse for Hiawatha Home Care. The groom works for local restaurants in Red Wing.
