Women's St. Croix Valley Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. March 15 at the River Falls Public Library. The program will include FamilySearch Indexing program, which release the 1940 U.S. Census index April 2.
LWV
Red Wing League of Women Voters will hold an informational meeting titled "What do you want to know about the city budget?" from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday March 8 in the library’s Community Room.
Belle Creek Watershed
Belle Creek Watershed District will host its spring meeting at 4 p.m. March 22 at the Goodhue County Soil and Water Conservation District in Goodhue. This is an open-house format. Meet watershed managers and weigh in on water quality concerns.
Kindergarten registration
Registration for children entering kindergarten at Red Wing Public Schools this fall will be noon to 6 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday at Colvill Family Center. Parents can stop in any time during those hours. The child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 to register.
Goodhue Pioneers
Goodhue County Pioneer Club will meet at noon Friday March 9 at Doc Sawyers. Lunch is on your own with cards to follow.
