Wise Owls club meets Tuesday in Cannon Falls

The “Mary” Wise Owls Book Club will meet 6:30 p.m. Tuesday March 13 at the Cannon Falls Library, 306 Mill St. W. The group will discuss the “Pope John.”

Meier, Evan books will discussed at library

Red Wing Book Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday March 13 at the Red Wing Public Library. People will discuss “Through No Fault of My Own” by Peg Meier and “The Walk” by Richard Paul Evans.

Anyone interested in hearing about books others have enjoyed is welcome to attend. For more information, contact Judy Rausch at 651-388-5759.

Book House Calls provides delivery

Are you in need of library materials because of illness, disability, or you just do not like navigating our Minnesota winter? The Red Wing Public Library is collaborating with Faith in Action to provide the Book House Calls program. This free book delivery program is intended to assist any person who has temporary or permanent limited access to the library.

Trained volunteers will deliver items to your residence. Volunteers are trained by Faith in Action and receive a special Red Wing Public Library card plus library orientation. Materials available include all types of reading materials, books on CD, music CDs and DVDs.
