Containers are a great way to try out the idea of water gardening without committing to a larger, more permanent pond. It is easy to maintain a decorative pot of water garden plants on your patio or deck without special aerators or filtration, according to Goodhue County Master Gardener Mary Brickzin-Gal.

The event is free and sponsored by the Goodhue County Horticultural Society.
