Manufacturers will discuss new Mississippi River bridge

Jay Owens, city of Red Wing engineer, will explain how the Minnesota Department of Transportation is assembling a project advisory committee. The committee will help MnDOT officials understand local concerns, provide communication with the community as well as review plans developed by engineers and decisions made by MnDOT.
Many local manufacturers are concerned with current over-the-road transportation restrictions, organizers said.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 in the St. James Hotel Oak Room. Cost is $20.
