Woman arrested after residential robbery
A Red Wing woman has been arrested following an alleged burglary/robbery Wednesday night, Red Wing police reported.
A Red Wing woman has been arrested following an alleged burglary/robbery Wednesday night, Red Wing police reported. Stevie Allyn Campbell, 18, 1636 Ridgewood Lane, was booked into Goodhue County Jail on suspicion on first-degree burglary, aggravated robbery and fifth-degree assault.
Police were dispatched to 314 ½ W. Fourth St. at 10:31 p.m. for a report of an assault in progress. They found the victim, a 52-year-old woman who lives at the apartment, in the lobby.
The woman reported that Campbell had entered her apartment, confronted her and began slapping her while demanding money, police said. Campbell then reportedly knocked the woman to the ground and pinned her down.
Police located Campbell standing just outside the apartment door and arrested her.
