Mother, son arrested; four pounds pot recovered
A mother and son from Pine Island were arrested Wednesday when 4 pounds of marijuana were found during an investigation by the Southeastern Minnesota Narcotics Task Force, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.
A mother and son from Pine Island were arrested Wednesday when 4 pounds of marijuana were found during an investigation by the Southeastern Minnesota Narcotics Task Force, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Ricky Andrist, 42, and Rose Andrist, 67, both of Pine Island, are being held in Goodhue County Jail. They face potential charges of first-degree drug possession and sales charges.
Also found were cash and 20 firearms, the sheriff reported. The marijuana has a street value of $12,000 to $15,000.
The task force is working with the Sheriff’s Office in an ongoing, multi-county investigation.
