Girls Basketball: Plum City cruises in regular season finale

Marah Boyer scored 17 points Thursday to help Plum City beat Gilmanton 61-38 in Plum City in the regular season finale for the Blue Devils.

Tiffany Clare added 12 points and Heather Von Holtum scored 10 for Plum City (9-11) in the win.

“It was a very solid game for us,” Blue Devils head coach John Pollock said. “We were in control for most of the game.”

Boyer knocked down three 3-pointers as Plum City held a 22-15 lead at halftime. That lead grew to 15 by the end of the third quarter.

The Blue Devils end the regular season on a four-game winning streak and will face Wonewoc-Center Tuesday in the opening round of the WIAA Division 5 playoffs.
