Churches Around the Park offer "It is Time" series

Churches Around the Park will begin a five-week series on Wednesday evening Lenten services Feb. 29. The theme is “It is Time … .”

People will worship together using the Holden Evening Prayer service at 5 and 7 p.m. Between services, the host church will provide a meal that is open to anyone.

The services will be:

“It is Time … to Recall,” Feb. 29, at First Presbyterian Church. Pastor Steve Timm of United Lutheran Church will preach.

“It is Time … to Repent,” March 7, Church of St. Joseph.

“It is Time … to Rest,” March 14, First United Methodist Church.

“It is Time … to Renew,” March 21, United Lutheran Church.

“It is Time … to Respond,” March 28, First Lutheran Church.

The participating congregations include St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Christ Episcopal Church. Loose offering will go to the Community Care Fund.
