Team USA improves at third race of Red Bull Crashed Ice

Team USA continued to make strides at the third leg of the 2012 Red Bull Crashed Ice series in Are, Sweden, with all members qualifying for finals competition.

Andrew and Daniel Bergeson, of Red Wing, both made it through to the finals with top two finishes Friday in their respective heats. Andrew won his first race and secured a spot in the round of 32 Saturday and ended in 31st place while Daniel was knocked out in the first race of finals and came in 43rd.

Tigh Isaac, of Salt Lake City, secured the Americans’ highest finish, making it to the semifinals and ending in sixth place. Cameron Naasz, of Lakeville, came in 15th place.

The final race of the 2012 Crashed Ice season will take place March 15-17 in Quebec City, Canada.
