Bomb squad takes rocket launcher
The Bloomington Bomb Squad was called to Red Wing Feb. 17 after a World War II rocket and rocket launcher were found in a foreclosed property. Carnel and Company Realtors, Cannon Falls, had entered the property on East Sixth Street, found the weapon and called Red Wing Police.

The bomb squad was then notified and collected the weapon without incident. Police Chief Tim Sletten said there were no laws broken and charges will not be filed.
