Baseball training
Red Wing Youth Baseball Association is offering four weeks of spring training for grades 6, 7 and 8. Coaches Paul Irwin and Josh Thygesen will cover hitting, fielding, base running with an emphasis on pitching and catching. The program will begin at Bergwall Arena and move to Prairie Island Arena, meeting 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays beginning March 14.
Registration is limited to 40. Cost is $50; register for the baseball clinic, too, and save $10. For more information, contact Irwin at 651-380-3606.
Baseball clinic
Coach Bohmbach and the Winger baseball team will cover throwing, fielding, batting, pitching and catching at a clinic March 17 and 24. Grades 2-4 will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. and grades 5–8 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Red Wing High School. Bring your glove, cap and gym shoes. The two-day clinic costs $30. A one-day clinic costs $18.
Youth baseball
Youth Baseball Association will hold a registration meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday March 8 at Cornerstone Church for ages 9–15. For more information, visit www.redwingathleticassociation.org and click on the baseball tab or contact Corey Tauer at 651-324-2206.
Girls on the Run
Girls in grades 3–5 are invited to join this running program that incorporates life lessons with running. They will learn the importance of physical and emotional health, the importance of gratitude, and learn to recognize and deal with bullying.
The program meets twice a week at school starting March 5. Classes at Burnside meet Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. The Twin Bluff program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. The season concludes with a 5K event May 19.

Soccer
Red Wing Soccer Club is registering boys and girls ages 9 and older for the summer season. Teams are formed for boys and girls ages 9 and older.
