Dance: Lake City and Z-M to compete at state

Lake City qualified for Class A state competition in high kick and Zumbrota-Mazeppa will take part in the Class A jazz dance category.
“Lake City has done a phenomenal job this year,” Salisbury said before the section meet. “They’re going to be a stiff competition. … They’ve been strong contenders for a long time but they’ve stepped it up this year.”
The Tigers dance at noon Saturday and the Cougars compete at 12:08 p.m. Friday at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
