Man assaulted on Plum Street

A man was assaulted while walking in the 700 block of Plum Street early Sunday morning, Red Wing Police reported.

Police were dispatched to the area at 3:33 a.m. The man said he was walking down the sidewalk and was jumped by two males. Police said the man had abrasions on his hands and face.

The man did not know his attackers, and police say there are no suspects.
