Blood donations fall short of goal

The American Red Cross blood drive Feb. 9 at the United Lutheran Church collected 55 pints. The goal was 80 pints, organizers said.

The following donors were honored for reaching a special number of gallons given: 1 gallon — Fredrick Hanson; 4 gallons — Steven Novak; 5 gallons — Christine Cummings; 10 gallons — Therese Blim.
