Mayo Clinic Health System earns gold seal of approval
Mayo Clinic Health System again earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for accreditation.
Mayo Clinic Health System again earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for accreditation. The Lake City location and its regional clinics in Alma, Plainview and Wabasha demonstrated compliance with commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety in hospitals, officials said.
Mayo Clinic Health System underwent a rigorous unannounced on-site survey in late August and early September 2011. A team of Joint Commission expert surveyors evaluated the organization for compliance with standards of care specific to the needs of patients, including infection prevention and control, leadership and medication management.
