School’s Out Fun Day
Monday Jan. 23 is the next School’s Out Fun Day. Red Wing Family YMCA will offer snow tubing at Afton Alps. This day is for children who are in grades 1-5 and 42 inches or taller. The cost is $50 per child, $40 for Y members. Registration and payment are required.
Teen dance
Friday Jan. 20 is the next teen dance at the Y. The event is open to grades 5-7 and will run from 8 to 10 p.m. School ID is required. The cost is $5.
Tai Chi for Arthritis
The Tai Chi for Arthritis class will combine agile steps, joint-safe exercises and mental strength to improve mobility, breathing and relaxation is ways that will help you feel greater control over your daily life. The class will be noon to 1 p.m. Saturdays Jan. 14 through March 17. Space is limited; registration and payment are required. The cost is $40 per person, free for Y members.
