Purple and White night set for Jan. 13

The Red Wing Booster Club and the Youth Basketball Association will be hosting a “Puple and White” Pack the Gym night for the Red Wing girls basketball team’s Jan. 13 game against Northfield.

Minnesota Timberwolves and University of Minnesota Golden Gopher basketball tickets will be given away as well as autographed basketballs and t-shirts. Every member of the girls youth basketball program will be introduced before the game and one person will have the chance to win $100 by making three shots.

All children wearing purple and white will be admitted at half price.

The games begin at 6 p.m. with the junior varsity and the varsity game following at 7:30 p.m.
