Thom-Riester wedding

Carrie Thom of Hager City and Kevin Riester of Red Wing were married Sept. 17, 2011, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Wing with Deacon Pat Evans officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Carol Thom of Hager City. The groom is the son of John and Vicki Riester of Red Wing.

Maid of honor was Katie Acker, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Katie Johnson, sister of the groom, Jessica Riester, sister-in-law of the groom, Hilary Johnson, Leann Pogatchnik, Dana Brenhaug, Kendra Chavin and Sarah Brunner. Flower girl was Ava Acker, niece of bride.

Best man was Ryan Riester, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Matt Thom, brother of the bride, Craig Johnson, brother-in-law of the groom, Adam Witt, Paul Gordon, Andy Oldenburg, Joe Mahn, Jerry Vinopal, Chuck Stricklin and Pat Noll, cousin of the groom.

She is a 2006 graduate of Winona State University with a degree in nursing and is employed at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota as a registered nurse.

He is a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed at Automated Equipment in Red Wing as a mechanical engineer.
