Barker pleads guilty to second-degree drug sales charge
A Columbia Heights, Minn., man pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree drug sales Friday in Goodhue County District Court. Duane Nathaniel Barker, 42, was arrested last August after selling 2 ounces of cocaine to a police informant during a drug bust in Cannon Falls.
A Columbia Heights, Minn., man pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree drug sales Friday in Goodhue County District Court. Duane Nathaniel Barker, 42, was arrested last August after selling 2 ounces of cocaine to a police informant during a drug bust in Cannon Falls.
Barker has been held in Goodhue County Jail since his arrest. His bail is set at $200,000. He will be sentenced Jan. 13, 2012.
Barker’s wife, Shameake Mone Gamble, 36, also of Columbia Heights, was also arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree drug sales for her involvement in the August sale.
She has pleaded not guilty to both charges. Her next court appearance is Dec. 16.
