Wenzel-Schroeder wedding

Abby Jo Wenzel and Christopher William Schroeder were married July 2, 2011, at the Little Log House Pioneer Village in Hastings. Pastor Tom Johnson officiated.

She is the daughter of Ed and Doris Wenzel of Red Wing. He is the son of Brian and Deb Schroeder of Marshall, Minn.

Maid of honor was Abigayle Conner of Minneapolis. Bridesmaids were Megan Gregory of Rochester; Jennifer Wenzel of Irwin, Idaho, sister-in-law of bride; Tiffany Schroeder of Mankato, Minn., sister of the groom; and Marissa Schroeder of Marshall, sister of the groom. Personal attendant was Jeanne Garbers of Owatonna, Minn.

Best man was Brandon Maher of Montevideo, Minn. Groomsmen were Aaron Schroeder of Marshall, cousin of the groom; Nick Wenzel of Irwin, Idaho, brother of the bride; Tommy Gregg of Redfield, S.D.; and Peter Wenzel of Red Wing, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Paul Younger of Marshall, Matt Antony of Fargo, N.D., and Justin Hoflock of Marshall, cousin of groom.

She graduated from the Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2008 with a degree in family consumer science education. She is employed at Southwest Junior High, Forest Lake.

He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2010 with a degree in ethnic studies and American Indian studies. He works for Wenzel Appraisals Inc., Red Wing.

They live in Forest Lake.
