Learn about miniature plants
Goodhue County Horticultural Society will present “A World of Plants in Miniature,” featuring slides on rock gardens and their minute plants. Harvey Buchite will introduces gardeners to the world of these adaptable miniature plants of the high mountain worlds. You'll visit a number of rock gardens here in the Midwest, Canada and Europe to help you envision a miniature garden of your own.

Free and open to the public, the presentation will begin at 7 p.m. Monday Oct. 17 at First Presbyterian Church, 503 Sixth St. W.
