Crash kills Chicago couple on Hwy. 52

A Chicago couple died in a crash on Highway 52 on Saturday evening.

Angelo Dimopoulos, 70, and Connie Dimopoulos, 65, of Chicago, were driving westbound on County Road 9 when they tried to cross Highway 52 and were struck by another vehicle, driven by Michael Radosevich, 53, of Rochester. A third vehicle, driven by Junfeng Liu, 32, also of Rochester, apparently was unable to avoid the crash and also hit the Dimopoulos’ car, according to the State Patrol.

The Dimopouloses died from the crash. Radosevich and his passenger Richard Utley, 53, Rochester, and Liu all were taken to St. Marys in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries.
