Franco-Nelson wedding

Tasha Franco of Hammond, Wis., and Shane Nelson of Red Wing were married Aug. 27, 2011, at Lafayette Park Point Beach in Duluth with Cindy Stratioti officiating.

She is the daughter of Andy and Bobbi Franco of Hammond. He is the son of Charlie and Becky Nelson of Hager City.

Matron of honor was Nicole Quinlan of Red Wing, and maid of honor was Melissa Johnson of Red Wing, sister of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Sheree Salgado of Bloomington, cousin of the bride, Mariah Richter and Kenzie Richter, both of Hammond, cousins of the bride. Flower girls were Peyton Nelson, daughter of the couple and Avi Johnson, niece of the groom.

Best man was Jason Hinz of Zumbrota, groomsmen were Nate Johnson of Red Wing, brother in law of the groom; Luke Johnson of Hager City, and Andrew Franco of Hammond, brother of the bride. Danali Nelson, dog of the couple was ringbearer.

She is a graduate of Hudson High School and attending Minnesota State-Southeast Technical College.

He is a graduate of Red Wing High School, and is employed as a crane operator for FAGEN Inc.

They live in Red Wing.
