PIZM boys end regular season with win

The Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa boys soccer team closed out the regular season Saturday with a 3-2 victory over Faribault in Faribault.
The Wildcats (10-4-2) got two goals from Fredi Bormann and Moritz Kitzweger added another. Noah Smith and Paul Kohner had assists.
Brady Holst made 10 saves in goal for PI/Z-M.
The Wildcats had 14 shots on goal and move onto the Section 1A playoffs Tuesday.
