The Red Wing boys soccer team struggled to find any scoring chances Tuesday in a 2-0 loss to Chaska in Chaska.
The Wingers (3-6-2, 0-4 Missota) had just five shots for the game and none in the second half.
Beka Shuna scored 2 ½ minutes into the game and Troy Ewers headed home a corner kick with 17 minutes left in the second half to lead the Hawks to victory.
“I wasn’t disappointed in our play,” Red Wing head coach Matt Quinn said. “I was just disappointed we couldn’t get some shots off when we needed to.”
Wingers senior midfielder Peter Correll returned to the lineup for the first time since the Lake City tournament.
Andy Tarr made nine saves in goal for Red Wing.
The Wingers face New Prague Thursday in Red Wing.
