The Red Wing girls soccer team came out hesitant Tuesday against Holy Angels and it hurt in a 5-0 loss in Richfield.

The Wingers allowed two goals of corner kicks in the first half and the Stars went up 3-0 at halftime.

“We were hesitant to attack them,” Red Wing head coach Dusty Beckman said. “We were just kind of scared but we played aggressive.”

The Wingers played better in the second half, Beckman said. Holy Angels scored two more goals in the second half. One came with 20 minutes left in the game and the other in the final 10 minutes.
